The trade balance surplus continuously accumulated by the German economy but caused by the German politics is a violation of the agreement under international law called GATT

The severe disagreements between Germany and the US have to be seen against this backdrop and have been a subject for long, however, Mr Obama might have addressed this topic in a more conciliatory way than Mr Trump’s current harsh way. After all, the trade balance surplus continuously accumulated by Germany

(__nearly 9 per cent in 2016__)

is inacceptable and constitutes a severe threat to the so-called free trade and is just an expression of the malfunctioning of the European Monetary Union:

On the one hand there is a deficit limit of 3 per cent in this union but on the other hand a surplus limit of 6 per cent, that, taken by itself, is a no-go because deficits and surpluses are directly linked. Condition for a working monetary union

[__This statement was first published
in German on 23 February 2017.__]

One of the two essential conditions for a monetary union properly working is the alignment on the Golden Rule of Wages.

(__See the detailed explanation in: Es werde mehr Licht! Mehr Demokratie wagen in der Lobbykratie? Untersuchung über die Konsequenzen der bürgerlichen Real-Demokratie, pages 214-18, footnote 177.__)

For this reason the regular ballyhoo-rituals between employers and unions not only can but have to be refrained from. As this way _all_ parties involved _indeed_ are helped, we can see what mess the policies asked for by Europe’s German hegemon produces. Condition for a working monetary union weiterlesen

Comment on Donald Trump’s Inaugural Speech

[__24 January 2017, statement in German by Joachim Endemann
translated by Kirsten Grunau.__]

From my point of view this speech is to be seen against the backdrop of the following quotation which might also clarify that there has been a long tradition having offered and offering the back cloth to such figures, for Donald Trump is merely their continuation, brought to the boil.

And _in this respect_ I do understand all that fuss by the representatives of the German elite, however, not because that fuss were justified, for it simply is not, as these representatives themselves are part of that

(__causing__)

tradition, and apparently additionally, still significantly stamped by the Wilhelminism as they have been displaying ever since the end of the Cold War with an ever-increasing  tendency

(__even though enriched by a certain dadaist-surreal component adjusted to the very era__).

Stephen Fry’s line of reasoning regarding the greatest abstract figure of human thoughts …

Stephen Fry’s argumentation in the video will never convince monotheists for their ideology is so “spacious” that any queer thought is able to rush through and so they will believe, in that moment when the earth will come to its end (and only the point in time is uncertain), it was an act of their imagined spiritual figure – whereas actually it will be a certain result of a certain point in the movement of the everlasting pulsing Materia.

So the question is: Is it not high time for humane ethics – binding for all, while belief has to remain a private matter? And what could express what “humane ethics” means? Well, in short: to live in the originality of a person’s own, to think in the originality of a person’s own, to behave in the originality of a person’s own – provided such a person does not demand this from the environment (including the own children for they should develop their own originality of being a human being – as far fully developed as possible).

Yours faithfully, Joachim Endemann
